I strive to promote civic engagement. As an individual privileged to hold a leadership role who happens to be Asian-American, I hope to bring along others who are neither Black nor white. I was reminded of how much more has to be done after recently attending a major convening in New York City organized by a public institution interested in outreach in this historic period of building back.
